about
Inspired by our brave soldiers and the sacrifice they make for our freedom.
lyrics
At dawn’s new day it’s above a hundred degrees, it takes all that you got just to struggle to your knees
The site that greets your eyes is a silhouette of jagged lines, it’s all that’s left of a skyline ripped by bombs and mines
Still tired and dried out, so dry you don’t even have to piss, sniper shot, bullet ricochets yet another near miss
In a roar of gunfire, the sniper’s challenge is given a reply, just another day in the mid-east rubble waiting to see if it’s your turn to die.
Here we go-We got to find the splinter cell
Here we go-Another day in desert Hell
Here we go-Making our way through the streets
Here we go-Nowhere to hide from the heat
We walk the living
As the spirits of the dead reach out as one
All the souls among us while their bones and shields are bleaching out in the sun
You’re patrolling the road trying to keep the peace, but in the back of your mind you’re waiting for a car bomb to be released
Flying recon in a chopper you think that you are safe, but one zealot with a rocket launcher is enough shake your faith
Young and old and women dying too, innocents, all of them, for their freedom to look to you
In a war of terror, nobody really wins, the best you can hope is to be the one with the fewest sins
Here we go-We’re out to save the innocent
Here we go-Another bed of cracked cement
Here we go-To fight for freedom for us all
Here we go-To put their backs against the wall
You ask why you’re fighting, you’re loved ones keep crying
But you keep on saying, Have Faith, Hope, Trust and Pray
Believe in yourself, believe in what is true, be true to all around you
And you and your friends will see you through
Here we go-We’re on a mission to kill’em all
Here we go-We’re on a mission to keep the peace
Here we go-We’re out to show them shock and awe
Here we go-We’re out to get back in one piece
Beneath your heart are the reasons you want to continue
Your family’s picture, retreating in the darkness
You must protect them from all of us now
We expect you to save everyone of us
We expect you to save everyone of us
We expect you to save everyone of us
We expect you to save everyone of us
And in the distant call are forces of the resistance
The angels are pulling us out of our time
You look for the answer, but you dream you need to survive
Humanity's fading as you climb
You ask why you’re fighting, your loved ones keep crying,
Within this life on life, we have to find a way to keep our self control
but you keep on saying have Faith, Hope, Trust and Pray. Believe in yourself, believe in what is true,
I have my prinicipals, I have the morals that I learned before I lost my name
be true to all around you and you and your friends will see you through.
We need an end in sight...to survive!

A great band still playing today. This is one of my favorites in the instrumental category. I'm a big fan of all of their first four albums as well. The Cosmic Alloy
The Long Island metal band's third album etches arena-sized hooks into their jagged compositions, deftly balancing experimental and poppy inclinations. Bandcamp Album of the Day May 12, 2022
Sustained by seismic psych riffs, proggy shifts, and vivid sci-fi storytelling, these Milwaukee cosmonauts command respect. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 29, 2023
Strange and angsty alternative rock from Los Angeles that hovers between haunting and pretty and sharp and driving. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 27, 2023
